Passenger door wont open

Hi everyone, i've had the car only a week or so and I've already posted a few threads on here with problems/niggles beginning to think i may have bought a lame duck - but i'll stick with it.

Anyway the latest problem is with the passenger door. For some reason tonight the passenger door will not open from the inside - all of the other doors are absolutely fine and the passenger door can be opened from the outside. Prior to tonight its been working ok. The handle seem to be working fine, doesnt feel loose or anything.

Any suggestions?

need to whip off the door card and see if the interior handle rod is still attached at both ends

usually the rod goes into a little hole and a clip comes down over the rod to hold it into place ( youll understand when you see )

Vectra 2008 passenger door wont open from inside. I have attempted to take off the door card but only got the 3 screws off at the end. any guide with pics on how to remove this door card???
