Flip key gone limp. How do you open them up?

Just wondering if anyone knows how to open up the flip fobs on the 2006 vectra keyfob? mine is the 3 button design just i have a blank instead of a boot unlock button.

If yours has a slide off battery cover, then the whole fob is glued together mate.

It is possible to get them apart by breaking the bond, but I have read that this often breaks the key so you might be best trying to get a replacement Chinese housing from ebay before you start.

After that, similarly you need to be very careful because you are going to need to transfer the electronics on its circuit board to the new fob and have to make sure you get it out, without breaking the board.

The replacement fob will come with a new spring, you just need to transfer the blade and electronics over.
