    can i tax a couple of cars tomorrow to start in begining of march?

    Yes, as long as they are MOT'd and insured, and the current tax (or sorn) runs out at the end of Feb

    dont no when they run out but both have no tax on them just dont want to go dvla and spend hour there to be refused

    Should be ok, as long as you have insurance and MOT that covers 1st March

    I think you'll find you can't mate unless they are taxed already, you'll have to wait until 1st march.

    I think its 2 days previous to the end of the month and they start it on the first, if car is taxed already then you csn renew upto a month in advance! Plus the usual an mot and insurance thats in place.

    Hi, Bit of a side track to your original post - but could i ask you about your Trade insurance cover - I usually have one car on the drive that I am tidying up to sell on. I have two regular family cars that obviously are insured individually and I keep a third policy running for the cars I am selling - just changing the details of the car on cover with the insurance company, as and when, which allows me to drive them and give test drives to buyers. Just wondering if it was worth getting trade insurance - Do you think I would get it as I am not a business and any idea what an annual premium would be? Thanks
