rear parking swap over?

Not sure how to go about this other than to ask you guys, I want vauxhall parking pilot for my 2006 vectra sri cdti and I have been offered a VXR rear bumper with the rear skirt and built in parking? how ever my question is would you parking transfer straight over to my vectra? and the bumper I have been offered is in red, will the outside senorses repaint into silver ok?

You may be able to use the parking sensors in your Sri, I would imagine the chance of them being the same part is quite likely but you should really check part numbers to make sure. The ones you need for your car are 9198958 from 2006 onwards AFAIK.

However, that is just the beginning, you will also need the rest of all the parts needed if you are planning on retrofitting the Vx system. You will need the loom, rear speaker unit and the ParkPilot Module itself, together with the bumper mount fittings if you are going to make use of it. If you intend to fit front sensors too, then you will need the ParkPilot dashboard switch, front loom another 4 sensors and another set of mounting fittings.

This kit will also need to be programmed into your car after you have fitted it.

the looms are your main deciding factor IMHO. Getting to them before the scrappers cut the plugs off to sell the bumper it the key.
