where can i get reasonably priced pollen filter

just had a price for a few things from localish stealer and cant believe what they want for that bit of paper they call a pollen filter, over 50 quid,so anyone know where to get a cheap one.if i cant get it much less i will look at other options .daylight robbery springs to mind on that item!

That can't be right. As far as I know, the pollen filters are standard arcross the range, and there is no way they are £50. I changed mine a while back, and the replacement was probably less than a tenner, and that was from my local dealer.

There's two different types iirc, one is standard and other is carbonl filter

Standard pollen filter is about £6 or £7, alternatively do yourself a real favour and get an aftermarket activated carbon one (which I don't think Vauxhall do but could be wrong) which gets rid of smells as well as particulates and will cost you about £15 ish.

i have seen carbon ones on ebay for about the price mentioned above, £50 is a joke, that has to be an error surely.

Did you phone the Service Department, and they quoted for supplied and fitted?
Phone the Parts Department and ask for Part Number 93172129

just looked at email and it was fitted,doh.though thats still takin the mick tbh.thanks for links,will go euro later.the one fitted when i looked at it had been fitted the wrong way round so it wasnt sealed.from a so called specialist vauxhall independant.
