    Default Karcher foam question

Hey guys, I went out today and finally bought a Karcher Power Washer here as my old 32 quid cheapy gave up the ghost after 2 years which I was surprised even lasted that long. Anyways, the model I got came with a detergent bottle attached to the back and a suction pipe and wondered is it ok to use the snow foam through the pipe?
Now I've never used snow foam and bought a bottle of "Demon Wash Snow Foam" from Halfords and wondered do I just pour it straight into the detergent bottle or do I need to water it down? It also came with a detergent gun but after reading about on a few posts word is the gun does not give enough foam and does it need to be diluted when using this as well?

All in all if the detergent gun is crap and the suction pipe is crap I don't want to even bother wasting my time trying them to be disappointed and if that's the case I will just go ahead and just order an Autobrite gun as everyone seems to favor these units and also wondered do I dilute the stuff down when using them as well?
I'll just be using it to wash my car and the girlfriends car and dare say the eldest daughter will be jumping in there to get her car washed as well

Sorry for all the questions but if you don't ask en all that....

I use the back bottle for normal soap on mine, and the foam lance for snow. I like the lance bottle personally.

im with steveoxsi on this 1,mine has the 'detergent'bottle aswell but just bought the lance as i didnt think the detergent thing was up to much, try 'Procar' in Carryduff (look them up on Facebook) Davy may well do you a 'deal' for snow-foam lance & 5ltrs of snow-foam (Auto-brite will do a deal aswell but when you add in the postage cost of the weight of 5ltrs of 'liquid' it can be pretty expensive) hence a wee drive to Procar who do their own lances & snowfoam (i prefer Orchard Autocare "cotton candy") & with what you saved on postage you can buy something else

Nice one mucker, thanks for the heads up....went down there this morn'in and got the lance and 5ltrs of snow foam for 60 quid. I have 16 days holidays to use up so messing about the house looking stuff to do and didn't mind the drive

Anyways, got the power washer set up to make sure all was working and then had a go with the lance and after a bit of plumbers tape on the threads as the guy Davy had ran out before selling me the lance and some tweaking for a nice think foam, everything worked as it should. Defiantly worth the buy, best pre-wash I've ever used and most definitely saves the paintwork

    Cheers everyone for the replies!

Don't know what kind mate, I just asked him for snow foam and he gave me 5ltrs in an unmarked bottle, I take it that this was probably his own mix, I think it was £15.95. Done my job anyway with plenty of think foam so can't complain
