Fit a set on mine lastweek im happy with how the car rides
Thanks mate that's good to hear, although i think i had a set on an audi a4 that i bought once and the right front spring was cracked so i wanted to know if anybody had them for a longer while on their vecky and if they could recommend them
I put fk shocks and springs on mine last weekend. There are probably better out there but for the price I'm more than happy with them and would use them again.
I've not had any fk coilovers but I've had the raceland ones on both a mk4 astra estate and a veccy b v6 estate and to be honest unless your willing to spend good money on adjustable dampening set of coilovers then I wouldn't bother. The racelands where great on my astra even though I had a v6 in it but with the greater weight of the veccy I ruined it by putting coilovers on it. In my opinion for a bigger car like a vectra c then you need to go for high end coilovers or a good quality shock and spring set up.
Im running FK High Tec shocks and springs (40mm) on my CDTI 150 and they seem fine, ride is good and its nice and low and for £90 all in... bargain! Then again I dont drive my siggy like a sports car, i just wanted it to sit right. The shocks do seem soft but that does help to give a better drive. I wouldnt fit them to a high power car though....
My gsi has had FK AK Street coil overs on it from 2010 one of the small springs on the front is snapped so need to renew them but the ride is still good even with the snapped spring.
Thanks guys, Yes i saw a similar spring deal but my shocks are shot so i would need to get shocks anyway.. I think ill got with the FK Performance setup so. Hope they can handle a vectra.. If anyone has any other suggestion please feel free to let me know Thanks again guys great help
