DAB location in the vectra

Right tracked the little sod down , its in the far corner behind the glove box , ripped it out today and now have pioneer Dab using the existing ariel on the car , sounds 10 times better !!!

Just out of interest. What make is the DAB unit? always nice to know what's in my car

I take it this doesn't apply to all Vectras, only ones that had a VX DAB HU to start with ??

I am really keen to get that Pioneer DAB unit you have, but they are soooo expensive, even on eBay when they come up they go for a lot.

I am assuming if my car didn't have a DAB stereo before I would need to invest in the external aeriel that goes with the Pioneer unit

Yep it needs to have the dab as standard , you can get a dab splitter and use youe normal ariel , you dont need the dab one , the SQ between the standard fit dab and the pioneer is huge , well worth the money !

Yeah people may slate DAB but I had it four or five years ago & it's great!
Would certainly have it again.
