No, it's not that, it's just owners practical experiences I was looking for. There is, or seems to be, a lot of "hype" concerning NGK and a huge price difference, not just £5 so am just trying to get to the bottom of it all

I've got NGK1s in my 1.8 Elegance Dualfuel. I had NGK in my previous LPG car (Subaru Legacy 2.2) too, and never had any problems with ignition.

OK, my mind is made up now guys and have just ordered NGK LPG1's, found on the internet at sparkplugs2u.com at £13.26 each delivered inc VAT.

The phone chat with the helpful man at NGK's Technical Department helped, especially when he went on to tell me that it was fairly common for these plugs to be functioning like new after 40,000 miles

Thanks for all your thoughts fellas.

I used standard spark plugs from 2007. till now (first LPG astra, now LPG vectra) and never had any problem with ignition. BRC systems inside.

i've always used NGK and have alot of faith in them. These sparks worked better than ordinary spark plugs in my opinion.

It does not really matter what spark plugs and how they are marketed.
"Iridium" ones if genuine should have longer service life. Apart from that electrode material does not affect performance.
There main parameter apart from size is heat range rating.

As LPG has more heat signature due to slower burn rate, you should take one number "cooler" spark plug, so it would operate without overheating and failing too soon. If you drive petrol/lpg 50/50 then this is not your case.
