Hi folks id just like to share a thread with you dedicated to my other love, my 1976 Mini Clubman, iv had this car now since 2008 sadly due to funds etc it has been sitting in my parents garage now for the past 4 years but is due to be back out this year! Its not an actual 1275gt but it does have the 1275cc engine, vented drilled and grooved discs and short shift gear linkage in it, full stainless exhaust system and its an absolute gem to drive! And iv never driven a car that turns as many heads as this!!
Here are some photos of it, i cant wait for summer to be back out on the open road!

When i bought the car in 2008...

I fitted a new headlining and sprayed rollcage orange..... Of course

Stunning mate,the original mini is awesome,I must admit when I saw the thread title I was worried you'd bought one of the new shape ones which I absolutely hate!

Brings back memories, bought an 850 in 1981, first put a 1000 in it then an 1100 then a 1275gt engine and discs off an Allegro and a 3 x 2 concrete flag in the boot to keep it in the road, great fun till I bought a 2litre Fiat Super++++++ ( cant spell ) with twin cam and twin carbs totally in black more fun and faster
