    Default help please side lights

    just got some canbus leds side light bulbs from red line but they throw up fault so they sent me some more with some resistors witch fit across +and- wire is this right and will it solve it thanks for any help.

    It may solve your error message you can get error free bulbs also ,it won't solve the strobe effect though they will flash all the time the lights are off and the engine is on,the only way to stop them flashing is to run with your side lights on all the time

    they told me the first bulbs were error free. but they didnt flash all time when lights off and engine running.just throw up fault when running thanks mate

    Mine flashed all the time, so the now live in a box in the garage.

    They all flash mate this is why i rigged mine up direct into the fuse box so it bypasses the bulb check and now my side lights come on soon as my ignition is on..

    Wouldn't you get the same result by just turning your light switch to on when you start the car

    mine dont flash mate just tryed them with engine running lights off just shows bulb out on dash

    Unfortunately LEDs and Vec-C's aren't compatable items due to the canbus system.

    In an ideal world yes, but for some reason the Vectra-C is still fussy about LEDs.
