    Default Can anyone advise please

    Hi everyone. Major diffs with the veccy this week. Bolt has sheared of the tensioner. Its not the 1 on the piston but the 1 into the engine. Can't see any way of getting at it to drill it out and i'm wondering is my only option to drop the engine out. Thought i would put it out to you guys to see what my options are.
    Got this pic of the how to fit a new 1. And i was wondering could i cut a 2inch hole out of the corner above the piston or would this affect the strength of the car????

    Just drop the engine.
    By the way its not a piston it's a hydraulic tensioner
