    Default Is sri steering wheel straight swap??

    hi all, as title, just bought a sri steering wheel off ebay and suddenly thought is it smaller than my crappy plastic exclusive one?? and will my airbag go straight on the sri one??
    Anyone done this can help?

    mine swapped over ok exclusive /sri .t50 iirc to remove

    just make sure you disconnect your battery and leave it for a good hour or so before hand to make sure you don't set the airbag off!

    There is a How2 about changing the steering wheel.

    The airbag can also have 1 or 2 connector wires. You need to check yours to find out.
    You only need to pop the airbag out to see how many connections, a small flat bladed screwdriver needed.
    Torx T50 bit needed to remove the steering wheel.

    Missed your last post.
    That looks a good choice and a good price too.
    It is a lot easier getting one with the same number of spokes.
    The audio controls swap over ok, but the bottom cover(s) are different between the 3 spoke and the 4 spoke.

    Yeh thats what i thought.
    I was watching a pr-face sri one which went for a bargain 99p and £5 postage but didn't look half as good as the facelift one, worth paying a bit more for the right one i think and less hassle swapping over.
