V bar respray

Popped into my local VX bodyshop to get a quote for having my spare V bar colour-coded. Wasn't very convinced by the £100 price and the lack of confidence the guy had in whether it would be a robust finish.
So if anyone has any suggestions I would be very greatful. I am in Essex so local paintshops would be preferable but all advice welcome.
I was wondering what my local chipsaway might come up with

i had the lower spoiler (the black rubber thing) colour coded for a smidge over £100, and the guy in the garage said that he would do the signum fog surrounds and the v bar on the grille for free, seeing as he would have paint in the gun anyway.

£100 is a COMPLETE rip off - you should've spat in his face!

the place i took it to was just off the north circular road, close to hanger lang round about, don't know if you know the area or not.

£25 for my V grille spray as the dealer is spraying the spoiler anyway.

Reckon I know the place - they quoted me for some work a few years ago now - beside that massive Chinese food warehouse place. I think the turn off on the sign is for Park Royal... but when you get to the top of the slip road (if going clockwise - from Hangar Lane) go left - he's just along there.

What colour is your car? I want one doing too

It's right next to the Tile City place, do you know where the Ace Cafe is? It's a stones throw from there, right next door.

colour of my car is silver lightning

EDIT: Forgot to add, that if your car is star silver then i'd leave it as it is, because it won't look much different to what it is now. Mine is only just noticeable

Query re. colour was aimed at Scalesy - thinking of a job lot of Black (hopefully?)

Mines Black too so I would be well up for massive bulk discount (or in plain English quids off coz I is a bloater) as its a spare I'm not in too much of a rush its also already in two parts which may make life easier.

Not in a rush either, but I will want to do this... keep in touch. I'll see if I can get any rates down my way for doing it! 1, 2 or 10 - won't be a lot of price difference. Get a few done & Ebay the rest?!
