I´m affraid that they will not fit in the arches at all.. The sidewall on those tires are to high..
far too big for a vec
so not even for a short fix? someone has kindly slashed my 4 tyres
235/35/19: Rolling circumference - 2036mm, Diameter - 648mm
245/45/19: Rolling circumference - 2212mm, Diameter - 704mm
Your speedo will read 8.6% less than your actual speed.
Just got that from here http://www.autopartuk.com/tyre-calculator/

thanks for the info bud i know its far from perfect but they ill do for now?
No problemI think the issue may be that they might rub on the inner wheel arch. Is there a way you can test fit them and turn the wheels lock to lock?
They're going to rub like crazy, I'm sure of it. Mine are 245/35/19 and they are very close at full lock.
will they look stupid aswell?
Sorry to hijack the thread guys,, has anyone fitted 235/40/19 tyres instead of the 35 profile, just wandering if the extra width of a 40 profile would offer a bit more cushioning .... Curious
