Why I have dash cam...

As you may well know, last friday Russia was hit by a meteor. This has been well documented by the dash cams that some people on here have, but are quite abundant in Russia. The reason for this is due to them being mandatory for many companies to decide who's to blame for any accidents.

As such, and due to the way Russians drve, there's a lot of footage on yourtube. One person has collected a lot of it together into a montage, and currently has 37 compilations uploaded.

Be aware that the odd clip isn't for the faint hearted - if you are easily offended then don't look.

Otherwise, enjoy some odd moments including the driver who attempts to scare someone who'd just walked across the road in front of him by steering his car toward him, only to slide on the ice and crash himself...

Seen a lot of these Russian videos and they are mad. The speed they drive at in the ice and snow is unbelievable and then the way they overtake is to say the least breathtaking.......

Seems like there was one consitent theme to that video - speed

And people complain about the roads in the Uk when it snows. These roads are worse, but then, the speeds they drive in the snow it's no wonder they keep crashing. Do they have driving tests, it doesn't look like it. Nutters.
