Default Halfords jack kits, any good?

I need a new trolley jack as the my old man's just scares me everytime i used it (back right wheel lifts off the ground the more the car is jacked! so im guessing the jack isn't square anymore).

Looked on halfords and found this:

    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_255207

Anyone else bought these? Would you recommend them?

I figured i'd get the kit rather than just the jack, so i dont have to keep using my brothers stands (which he will no doubt want back at some point). Not really fussed about the car creeper as i'll probably never use it.

I was hoping to find a kit in a plastic carry case so i could easily store it in the boot, but halfords seem to only do these bigger kits. But if anyone actually knows of such a kit, i'd be grateful to for links

    Cheers

I have that set. Only complaint is the jack is barely as high as the stands at their highest. Lump of wood cures this!

I had the axle stands but replaced them with ratchet axle stands, lots easier to use.

No lowered car so should be fine height wise.

Thanks for the replies, might just go get me a set. I was a little concerned looking at the axle stands as the ones i have from my brother have like 3 welded scaffold bars to hold the car, and the legs on those seem pretty thin and feeble in comparison. But then again, as much as i'm not a fan of halfords for a lot of things, there tools are usually pretty darn good, so i got over the fear of them collapsing on me pretty easily.

No doubt i'll find something to moan about, but a jack that lifts the car whilst keeping its 4 feet on the floor will keep be smiling for a while at least.
