Well looks like the original battery on my vectra has given up not bad as its been in since 2004 so now I need a new one what would people reconmend for the 1.9cdti

Try GSF car parts. Just put in your REG number.

Bigger the better.. 096 type or better still 017 type will fit in the tray.. trust me

Did you have to mod anything to get it to fit or extend the connectors as mine were tight with the original battery

All i did was to take out the stopper in the bottom of the battery box.. bit of a squeeze to get it past the cables so another person helping would be better.. all goes in fine and connects up without issue
