M.O.T tomorrow Busy morning today
Hey guys as the title says really, first mot with the vectra, so yesterday the weather was in top form so a detail was a must, then decided to check my tyres oh lord they were bad uneven wear on the rears and one of the fronts were on the markers, sooooo... today three new tyres from a guy in thre trade i know brand new fitted for £150... so thats a piece of mind now just for the biggie come tomorrow at 2pm is the dredded mot hope it goes well guys.
Its amazing how worried we all get arround MOT time... I know myself that I brick it just before....!

Cheers guys! just got home and realized one of my l.e.d sidelights have gone real dim in comparison to the other fully working side looks like its gone duff!..
going to have to whack some standards in tomorrow morning i reckon just ordered some more l.e.ds with a years guarantee so i wont be in a pickle buying new ones if one goes duff within the year.. been an expensive day today never mind tomorrow fingers crossed guys i will report back once i have the news

EVERY year i get a spring or 2 crop up at mot time, and had the flexi done 6 months ago due to the turbo like whine from it! lol
Had a quick look over the spring yesterday from what i can of them they look to be ok, im not going to hold my breath, before i brought her she was dry stored for around half a year or so, so im hoping she'll whistle through it i hope!
Just looked at the previous mot cert, the advisorys were...
windscreen has damage to an area less than a 10mm circle within zone 'a' - the windscreen must of obviously been replaced and theres no damage what so ever on it.
offside front anti-roll bar linkage has slight play in a ball joint - ?
offside front anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover deteriorated but preventing the ingress of dirt - ?
nail in nearside tyre - all have been replaced in my owner ship
there all what was on the last mot advisorys items.. so having had a quick once over it earlier apart from the sidelight bulb she 'seems' to be all good to go.
Mine is booked in for the dreaded MOT next Monday afternoon, checked it over last weekend-one broken front spring, replaced the pair....only other i can find is a creaking back end (ARB's), fingers crossed it passes.
Well guys the l.e.d sidelights are out ive ordered new ones with a years guarantee with them, so standards are in, now a quick good luck wash even though the weather here is looking bleek, 2pm i have to be there for wish me luck folks ill report back later!
Good out come really she failed, but on nearside rear pads so went vauxhall earlier to pick some up, and a offside front anti roll bar, which i fetched earlier too, so going to set about tomorrow to get them fitted
