Anyone thought of installing a sunroof on your vectra? What are your views. I'm thinking about it.

Nobody mate actually roof panel comes as a skin so no cutting pillars required

if you cut the roof you have to reinforce the floor.
I had a astra with sunroof and she had some additional things on the floor too prevent twisting.
I would no cut my roof but i like the sunroof

You don't have to reinforce the floor thats a convertible
If you do not alter the pillars in anyway the rigidity of the car is still there. A sunroof is an opening in the roof. Anyone that has pressed down on the roof will tell you it is a piece of sheet steel that flexes and has no strength in the outer skin at all. A roofs strength comes from its pillars and the outer edge where the internal rain gutter is. The rest is to keep your hair dry and the cars interior!
