vxr dash

on the vxr mad I think on the elite and design the dash strip has like a black on it on my Sri it's got a silver part on passenger side and on drivers side and the front doors but I like the dash strips on the above how can I get them

I quite like that wonder how hard it would be to change a pre-face dash to a face lift dash lol

They aren't black, they are carbon fibre effect. Just buy some decent glossy cf vinyl and cover your own silver bits

There are guys selling the facelift dash on ebay for around £100. Having taken a Vectra to bits, literally, for parts and to scrap, I am amazed at just how much would have to be removed and then all put back together again, in a new dash, to achieve what you are thinking about.

Definitely NOT for the faint hearted or anyone short of a lot of hours of spare time

Just buy the dash trim of a scrap car and paint it mate what i am doing buying a dash trim off a lesser spec model like ls or so and get it sprayed piano black like my steering wheel controls and bit it back on job done

Hey, are we talking about the same thing ? I thought the question was about changing the entire dashbboard from a pre-face to a facelift. Maybe you are just talking the trim or the speedo ?
