Parting company with my Vec

Well after 12 months of totally trouble free motoring I will be parting company with my Vec at the end of this week.

We simply do not need two large cars in the family, so I have traded the Vec for an Astra, a couple of dealer pics are below.

This forum has been fantastic and taught me a great deal about Vec's and Vauxhall's in general so I will still be a regular visitor to keep up to date.

Thanx, no she is 1.8 VVT, I'm sticking with petrol because the annual mileage I do is tiny.

She motors really well, rapidly climbing thru the rev range and then the VVT kicks in.........

Wise move then if you're doing small mileage.

I have my eyes set on a 3 series as the vec is just eating fuel and i am looking to get a 3 series diesel always wanted one and am very tempted to get rid of the vec

I ran a 3 series diesel 320D for four years before my Vec highly, highly recommended but not cheap to buy and rubbish for the few days a year we actually see some snow LOL.

I have found one cor 5000 that i like the look of 06 facelift one same one 320D what is the spec like mate
