    What battery do you use in veccy caravan/estate 1.8 petrol ? (Ah; cold cranking amps (EN))

    Which ever one you want. The 1.8 came with a puny 55amp but you can fit a 72amp one from the 3.0cdti if you want. Think I put a 65amp one on my 1.8.

    are u sure alternator(+reg) in 1.8 petrol is 'strong enough' to charge during 'short' driving distance such big one as 72Ah that it will be 100% fully charged ? (I mean here situation which doesn't create shorter battery lifetime.)
