    Default Fault codes

As some of you will know I have been having issues with the battery light since having 2 new alternators on last year, it stays on (even now after doing over 1000 miles with it on)I plugged it in before but no codes came up, Now I have the car & spanner light come on, so I decided to plug it in again to read cars computor and these are the codes that came up:

P0621-01 Generator lamp "L" control circuit malfunction
    P0380-08 Glow device general error

Do the codes show as Present or Not Present?

The Glow Device general error is a common code my Vectra has it and so does my sons Astra H, both cars run fine.

Sometimes, an alternator that is not genuine (ie, not from Vauxhall), will throw the battery light on. Alternator is not faulty though

    Haha

Post 5 here >> http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...-starter-motor tells you how to test the glow plugs.

If they are the originals, I'd bet they'll all be performing poorly though If you're tight like me, replace the poorest glow plug

Ohm meter from top of glow plug to engine block should under 1 ohm
