    Default DMF and Clutch Wolverhampton

    Hi folks.

Got the dreaded vibrating clutch pedal........only started recently and no other rattling from the DMF yet.

Anybody in the Wolverhampton area recommend a local garage for me?

Will get clutch complete and DMF fitted.

    Vectra 2005 1.9 (120) 122K but no history prior to 80K.

    Thanks for your time.

Had mine done last week at A1 clutches Tipton, £660 including recovery to them. They fetched it at about 11.00 and rang me at 15.00 to say it was ready for picking up!! Incredible service.

Check again, I asked at Riverside Auto's in rugeley a fortnight ago and they quoted me £495, it would be cheaper to take your car there and get a lift than pay £619.

(EDIT), I'm not sure if that quote included a replacement clutch. The price of DMF's dropped by about £200 recently for our Vec's, the flywheel is now under £300 to us and cheaper still to the trade.

HA !!! used them two years ago my car went back to them three times and still wasn't right until finally the splines on the friction plate let go in the fast lane of the M6 TOTAL COWBOYS. They hadn't put the gearbox back on right and it was moving about as i was driving and my daughter used to work close to them and they use apprentices to work on the cars who rag them round the car park ...great for bedding in new clutches .
