Hey guys, quick question. Would it be ok to use Plast X on the black plastic parts in the engine i.e. Air filter housing, battery box etc or would I be safer getting something else?
Just doing a bit of a clean up around the engine and using white electrical spray grease waterproofing all the connections so gonna clean the lot while I'm in there

the meg's plast X is not suitable for the engine plastics, just light lenes really is all its best used on, just a good clean with an all purpose cleaner and a dressing, 303 is a popular one but any trim dressing would be fine, just may not last as long due to the heat/oil/grease etc.

Aerospace 303 is just an expensive version of AG Vinyl and Rubber care, its not worth the extra imo.

Imo its far superior to ag vinyl and rubber and well worth the extra cost. But each to their own.

I give all my plastics a spray with AC-90 which is basically WD-40 and they come up a treat, done em bout a month ago and they still look glossy black.

Loads of info guys, will look into some of the products mentioned.

    Thanks, really appreciate the help

P.S. Would Aerospace 303 be safe to use on the dash? Have heard a few stories about the Vectra dash being very sensitive.
