Does anyone know if this trim piece is removable, if so how?

Yes it is. Open the boot lid and starting from the rear, using a screwdriver(covered in piece of cloth to avoid damaging the paintwork) gently prise the trim upwards. Its held on by 2 or 3 clips, then a bit around the windscreen, if your taking it completely off best to pop the bonnet too.

yes, start from the front end at the bottom of the windscreen and pull. be carefull though as its easy to bend and leave a stress mark on the plastic. you can buy a tool to do this - windscreen fitters use one, but its basically a lever and a block of wood to prise the end off to start! :-)

Here is what it did look like underneath mine when I swapped my black ones for CC ones(ignore the crud it was all cleaned away before the re fit). The black plastic clip is what holds them on.

sorry to revive an old post but does anyone know where i can get replacement trim for my veccy? lost the two that were originally there and want to replace them, cheaply! am a true scot ha ha

should say the originals were painted black but even black plastic ones would do just to take the bad look from the roofline.

    Thanks
