I admit i dont know alot about Insignia's so it'll be bit of a learning curve

On thing i did notice is it doesnt have flat-blade wipers.....did all Insignias come with them from new?, if so mine had them swapped.

No idea about the flatblades, I'll have a look on mine later mate. There is a forum for it (insingiaenthusiast.org) but it's still growing and for some reason you wait ages for membership to be validated. Worth a look though and there's quite a few guys from here on it too.

I bought 2 new ones for mine and asked for flat blades, the parts guy bought 2 "normal" type blades out saying no flat blades listed for the Insignia.
Then took £45 off me for the pleasure (after discount).

I agree that 'siggy' is for Signums, not Insignias

I have just registered on Insignia Enthusiast site, hopefully it'll be a good forum

and FIL, that sounds an extortionate price for 'normal' wipers....where they gold??
