Default Bluetooth Kit on CD70 questions

Ive got a CD70 as fitted to a 2007 signum, my old car had an aftermarket bluetooth kit fitted allowing me to take calls and play my iphone through the stereo. Does the vauxhall bluetooth kit allow this? Or am I better looking at a parrot? the car has a nokia it at the moment but this only takes calls so I cant listen to my iphone through the stereo.

I was also looking at getting an aux in fitted but wondered if this would do both jobs.

Also does the CD70 allow for a number of additions to be fitted such as bluetooth, aux in and dab?

To get calls and music through the cd70 you'd need to fit both the uhp4 and aux in. The uhp is well worth the effort though IMO as you can make calls without having to leave the steering wheel

There are no factory options for fitting dab to the cd70 but you can get a decent aftermarket kit that integrates with the car

As said, you can retro fit the factory Bluetooth handsfree system with the CD70 and have full functionality from the steerting wheel. You can also have Aux in retro fitted. These options would leave the car looking as if it had been fitted at the factory - if thats what you are after then its probably the best option.

If you are after the functionality over looks, then probably the parrot MKi9200 is your best option. It two will intergrate with the CD70, however functionality is slightly depleted with regards to the steering wheel controls - however if you want to throw a bit more money at, there is a box made by Parrot calld the UNIKA which will interface with the steering wheel giving you control.

Thanks for info. I'd like to have it retro fit especially aux in but after reading the how 2 on here i'm not sure we're ready to set about soldering bits on! Is there no other way of doing this? I'm assuming there won't be any wiring already there? Car is a 56 sri cdti 120.

I was after the factory orption and look keeping the steering wheel controls. Are these straight forward fit onto a 57 plate signum?
My local vauxhall dealer was useless at these questions, couldn't even find the aux in parts or part numbers.

Also wondered if the vauxhall buletooth streamed music thereby not needing the aux in.

Vauxhall are/were running a deal on dab, £199 fitted.
