    Default Little problem immobiliser

    Hi all hope u all had a good weekend I am having a little trouble with my 52 1.8 vectra an it's getting worse lol it started when I bought it an every now an then the little car with pad lock through it on dash came up but tonight it took ten mins to get it started how do I fix this fault please help

    Have you tried the spare key if you have one?

    Had the same issue with my first Vectra. Spare key worked fine, but other one did what your's is doing. Got a replacement from VX which sorted it.

    My advice would be to not get a flip off ebay fella, not until you have sorted out your existing key first.

    Oh poo means new key then from vx witch ain't cheap oh well that's me mods list on hold again

    How come pal me mates got of com an I got me car pass can't I buy a flip key a just program it to mine

    Ring a few VX dealers and play them against each other, as price for repl key varies between dealers. Expect to pay between £100 and £150

    BUT.... Need to be sure it is the key that is faulty first. Maybe get the codes read first?

    If you have access to that software AND you know what you're doing, try re-programming your current key
