First pics after a few weekend mods.

Hi. I have owned my signum for about 4 months. It's a 2.2 direct elite with sri leather not the standard elite leather plus factory tints and duel exit exhaust. I don't usually keep cars for long but I like the signum so much I have decided to keep it and start modding a few things on a tight budget as I don't have much spare cash.

Over Christmas I picked up some fk springs and shocks for £89 and a set of 18's with all nearly new tyres for £220. As we have had a few days of good weather me and my dad set on the suspension.

It took the majority of the Saturday as we don't have up to date tools for the job but we managed it.

Fitted new front pads but the back of the alloys were slightly touching the calipers so had to buy some 3mm spacers. I will put in 5mm spacers as they seem too close still for my liking.

Put in a k&n panel filter and done the air box mod plus debadged the rear after washing today and polished the old girl. Not too happy with the polishing. I will do it again properly in a few weeks with some decent t-cut and clay bar etc.

Things I'm planning to do still

yellow calipers
sri headlights with 6k hids
colour code skirts and rear valance
spoiler
led conversion
badgeless grill
drl's
speaker upgrade. ( not sure about HU yet as I have cd 70 nav )

anything else fairly cheap my ears are open.

Yeah. Got the everything of eBay. Was dubious about fk setup as not many people have said good things about them but so far I'm happy with it. 40mm drop all round and not as harder ride as I thought it would be.

Certainly looks well! And can't grumble for what you paid!

Wish my dad was capable and willing to help me mod my car! I get told its a waste of money and ain't you grown out of that yet lol and he's as clueless as me when it comes to mechanics haha

Give me a pc I'm fine but mechanics scare me!

I have left mine on when doing them on my currnt and my previous Vec, it's up to you to be honest. Just use a small brush and give them a couple of coats! Make sure you give them a good clean first though as paint won't stick well to rust! I like a nice contrast and so have done mine blue on a moonland grey Vec, but even if they're done in a subtle colour they will look much better painted.
