    Default does dashboard(gaugeboard) store km driven info ?

    I was wondering if i get a new dashboard will it mess up the km driven stats ?

    If you change you dash clocks then it will display whatever was on the clocks you changed to. Hope that makes sense. Only if they are brand new then ( I think i'm right in saying) they can be programmed by the dealer to show your mileage/km

    I belive the mileage is also stored in the ECU. So if you did change the clocks the car would have two different reading. Though the one on the "new" clock would be the only one visable.

    yeah ..just saw one for sale near me for a reasonable price and thought I would give it a shot to try a white or blue LED conversion so that I would have one spare if I screw things up because I'm fairly new to soldiering.
    But looks just like a to much problem to switch if It has to be reprogrammed

    When soldering just be careful to not go near the ribbon cable to the Km LCD screen with you iron.
