Default CDTI's - Maps and Cats Poll?

Will be getting mine mapped soon, but wondering what to do with the cats, might end up leaving them in place to be fair but unsure?

So pop in you vote and let me know what you've done and anyone want to chip in pros and cons?

Please ONLY vote if you have a CDTI and have had a re-MAP of course

Only took the 2.2 SE to Hull Dan, its still on the standard exhaust... CDTI already has a twin cat back stainless however...

oh see must be getting you confused

remove cats definitely especially pre-cat. mine felt noticeably smoother and a slight turbo whistle.

i have a straight through now and my mate says it sounds like daft vader its strange lol.

My exhaust has boxes, not too fussed about the boy racer sound and it'll be quiet with them in anyway... Astra used to give me headaches on motorway lol... Not sure wether to gut the cats or a new stainless piece added...

Last time I had second work done to an exhaust tho, took 3 attempts to sort the squint look, tools at power flow...

You guys voting fancy putting some figures and driving differences too

precat & centre section only here, remap is by promap tuning

i did remove the centre section before the hull show but the turbo spool was far too loud so it went back on..

Anyone know if what the new MOT rules are likely to be, suggests a visual inspection of the cats now... May leave or just gut the second, leave the pre?
