    confused Retro fit bluetooth

    Hi
I'm doing a retro fit with the vx uhp4 on a 2006 vec cdti sri estate. just wondering if anyone knows where to find the mic connector at the dash end.
It seems my loom has the connection in the roof where the green plug from the mic sits, the ribbon cable is terminated and there are connections, but cant seem to find the dash end. got a diagram to run a cable up and jumper onto mic from uhp with 2 core wire, so I was wondering what the 3rd wire from the mic is for? the uhp only seems to have a 2 core for mic?
I scoured the forum and found a post saying the connector was to the right of the glovebox, taped up, but cant see it. Maybe if I knew where the end of the loom was I could try and trace it.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers david
Was hoping to avoid pulling trim apart.
Thought that as the loom was connected in the roof, it would also be connected behind the dash.
If I knew where the loom ended I could have a look.

I am trying to do the same thing. What I have found so far is that while most vecs have the loom at the mike end they dont necessarily have the bit required behind the glove box. I have sourced the UHP4 module and Mike. I also have a wiring loom for the radio from a Parrot kit adapter. Now all I need is the connector for the mike and the UHP4 multiplug then I can make a lead up using the circuit digs on TIS. I am an experienced electrical engineer and have been playing about with car electrics for getting on for 40 years.. Providing I can source the bite all I will need help with is the Tech 2 stuff. It really cant be that hard!
