twin exit exhaust question

silly question but do i need one from a 3.0 cdti or will one from a 2.2 fit my 2005 1.9 cdti, what is the y piece called thanks

I believe they will both fit, but the box on your 1.9cdti is empty so the other boxes may be slightly more restrictive

I bolted the centre section and twin back boxes from the 2.2 Direct straight on my old 1.9 mate - no issues at all...

The 2.2 Y will fit fine but you will also need both of the 2.2 boxes as the 1.9 box pipe diameter is a bit big for a direct fit.

It is best to go for the 3.0 version as it has the same exhaust bore size as the 1.9. But both will physically fit.

I fitted the 2 back boxes off a GSI vectra,bore size was different but the guy who fitted them had 1 of those machinnes for expanding pipe-work,just cut into the orignal pipe going to the left box

The 2.0 turbo petrol has a twin system the same as 2.2 & 3.0, It fits straight on no probs & the pipe bore is the same, the cdti middle silencer is done away with so no probs using the 2.0 back boxes!.
