    Default Brake pads. Warning light

    Morning all I've just joined the wires for the brake warning light on both front caliper s but light remains all pads have loads of life in them any help /advice thx

    You've joined them? Thats how it works, pads wear, senor wears down and the contact is joined. Just remove the wire or replace it with a new one, they are less than £10. And there is only one wire, on the front near side, so dunno what you have joined on the other side fella.

    I joined/bridged mine at it makes the light go off NOT on.
    There is only one on the f/n/s.

    The wires on front left and right are the same and both go to the same thing. So won't they do the same thing

    I was under the illusion there was only one fitted to the f/n/s, but obviously not the case .

    Yes and no. Depends on the age of the car I think.

    And newer models had no sensors at all.
