Knocking after oil change! Help please guys

Hi guys

Just used a pump to pump the oil out through the dip stick (dunno if you need to know that but I thought I'd start from the beginning)

Changed filter.. Took the restrict or out the air box.

Filled again put just over 4l so full on dip stick. Started up and a horrible knocking noise. It didn't go away when pressing clutch. But I took it for a drive and got it up to temperature and it's not doing it atm.

Is this normal while the oil is going round the engine. I'm at a friends at the moment about 6 miles from home am I ok to drive it. Or just over worried because it's a new car!

It's a signum 1.9 150 cdti 2006

What oil have you put in? As said get it looked at btw.

5w 30 shell helix got it from euro car parts off the reg

thats the right grade of oil but knockin could of jusy bin oil recircin

How now and no noise ill check first thing. I'll record it too see if anyone can pick up anything.

It's had
Cambelt
Water pump
New manifold
Now alternator
Serviced regular

Taking the egr off and fitting blanking plate tomorrow
