    Guys,

My engine has started to chug for about 30 seconds when you start it from warm after leaving it off for about 1 hour and then idles ok. Any ideas what could be causing this

A few things. Glow plugs? Also start by cleaning the EGR and boost sensor. Check the swirl bar is properly attached and working too

Brand new inlet manifold fitted, new EGR and boost sensor was cleaned yesterday. I dont get a glow plug light on when the engines warm, only when its cold.

What I have noticed though if it makes a difference, when you test the throttle body with the computer based software you dont get any PWM feedback when it moves, it stays at 0%

    Guys,

This problem has come back again today. Does anybody have any idea as to what it may be?
Would having no precat be something to do with it.

Try disconnecting the electrical connector from the coolant temp sensor (part of the thermostat). Does it make any difference?

I will try that next time it does it. It's just had a new thermostat which has a new sensor already in it. The problem was there before I changed the thermostat (stuck open)

No, I think the problem is relative to my low power under 2000rpm. I have no error codes or lights on. Sometimes it runs like a brand new engine but most of the time it lumpy and not nice to drive. Did think it may also be the number 3 injector plug but if you pull it off while the engine is running you can tell it's not that as it starts to make a right clunking noise until you push it back on, so at the moment i'm at a loss with this. Also now the fuel economy is getting worse as time goes on.
