metalic sound when turning

it sounds like metal on metal while turning. either that or a mouse stuck in one of the wheels. its ****** annoying, sometime i get it other times i dont.

it seems to happen more often when i turn left after about a quarter turn of the wheel. i had new pads and disks installed about 2 months ago so i doubt its that but im open to suggestions.

I had something similar on the GSi a couple of years ago ... sounded like I had chains wrapped round the discs and was driving very slowly... but was far worse when turning/parking.

After a few days hunting it down I eventually came to the small plate metal shields about 6 O'clock at the inner face of the front discs. It's below the lowest point of the hub and is a stone guard or something..... I got a big, flat blade screwdriver in the gap and levered it a way from the disc.... a handfull of stones and such fell out of either side ... and all was quiet once more.

As stated above. It sounds like your brake backplate is rubbing on the disc. A fairly common problem but really easy to fix
