Noticed a squelching noise coming from offside rear area when braking gently at slow speeds. Only noticed it when the weather is wet or damp. Braking efficiency seems ok.
Anyone any ideas before I attempt to investigate the noise?

Is there plenty of pad left? Mine are making a horrible noise but that because they need new pads. Doing on sat!
A squelching sound is usually a seized caliper, after a drive you will probably notice more heat coming from the noisy one aswell.
Will have a look at thr calipers and pads tomorow. Had the offside rear tyre burst this evening on a bit of road debris. Nice inch long gash in the inner side wall. So getting a new tyre fitted tomorrow too do seems a good time to check the brake noise.
Seems odd that I only get the noise when the weather is wet or damp though.
check if they are aftermarket pads ?
