No probs mate thanks anyways
Anybody know of anybody in the north east that could do it all for me? I'm useless with a soldering iron. And roughly how much would people charge to do the whole lot including a cd70 head unit.
Hi can someone advise me on what sort of soldering iron is best for doing the conversion and where is the best place to get the LEDs.Also I read somewhere on here that the 0805 LEDs are better. Can anyone help please
Hi all hope,I'm not backtracking here
when I purchase the LEDs to turn all dash blue etc is it a simple case of plug and play???? Just swapping bulbs????
With these plcc2 LED/SMD's, do they have different pcd (luminosity) outputs? I have seen a couple of places advertising bright and extra bright versions, but never mentioned a pcd rating.
@mick 1986 there are slightly different outputs with different manufacturers but really you don't want them too super bright or you'll end up with too much glare on some of the buttons/dials, if you follow links to them that a lot of people have posted on here you won't go wrong, and in response to @Sambecky1989 it's plug n play in so much as when you remove(de-solder) the old smd you replace it by soldering your chosen colour smd in it's place and you're good to go. so long as you've soldered it the right way round
