CDC40 Opera on the way

Just bought a CDC40 Opera c/w GID from ebay.

Do they all have DAB support, or was that an optional extra? If it does have DAB support, do I need a different aerial/wiring. The ebay listing didn't say much - it was from a breakers. Not that bothered really - I just wanted it for the 6-disc MP3 support.

I'm planning to fit this in place of the crappy NCDC2013. Should I expect any issues? My car is half-can (6 buttons) so not sure whether these will work with the Opera??

You will have issues mate you are going to need a rewire to the quad lock it needs a new aerial and also the dab unit is a seperate box up behind the glovebox. Don't just plug it in you need to seriously research the wiring changes needed for the HU and display. Pm Robsey as it can done but its not easy.

it wont work mate your half can cdc40 is full buddy plus for the dab u need the extra dab box and wiring also its onky tue newer units that pkay mp3 sorry to tell ya mate

Thanks for the advice guys - good job I didn't try to fit it as I'd probably have messed something up...

What's this quad-lock that you refer to?
