    Default What is the name of the type of ball roller bearing fitted with a tyre for quietness

    I need a roller ball bearing with a rubber tyre around it, but I havent got a clue what they are called.
    18mm OD, 6mm ID.
    Anyone know??

    Not quite, they are fitted in my kitchen, in a pull out unit in a corner cabinet.

    Unless you're after a specific brand or device, they are just termed 'rubber covered/coated bearings' or 'urethane covered/coated bearings' as a generic term. Available quite widely in all manner of sizes.
