Brembo caliper covers rub on snowflakes!??

I bought my car with these on it, and thought they look ok, the car had twintop alloys on, but now i have put 19" snowflakes on, and the fronts seem to be rubbing at the bottom of the cover, has anyone else experienced this? what to do? Take them off completely or put front 5mm spacers on? Would that be enough? And do you need extended bolts with 5mm spacers. Cheers

Ive now gone into garage and taken them off. Feel a weight of my sholders gone! They was all worn where the snowflakes have rubbed and to be honest looking closely they did look cheap covers that any car enthusiast would know was just covers! And im not a boy racer chav. Lol. Plus guess its more safe to not have owt on the calipers! Cheers guys.

Are we talking about the horrible plastic covers that go over the callipers? If we are take them off and paint the callipers or better still upgrade to 314mm or 345mm VXR brake setup. They look the part then and will stop you quicker unlike bits of plastic that do nothing

No pal, the brother in law bought them for £300, 3 bald tyres! I didnt think it was a bad price considering tyres. You after some twintops paul?

Just take them off, they're crap anyway, I've no doubt they're probably made of decent plastic but honestly what's the point? All they're really gonna do is trap heat moisture and dirt around your perfectly good callipers.
