RAW format

i have snapped a few photos in raw format, can anyone tell me what softwere i need to convert to jepg, as i would like to get them processed.

Photshop Elements will do the trick.

I believe you can get a 10 day trial from adobe.co.uk

You might be able to download a plugin from your camera manufacturer that enables you to open the format in your existing photo editor. I know Pentax do but they are THE superior camera manufacturer

My wife is getting into photography. She uses Nikon VIEWNX 2 to play with photos and it can convert RAW (NEF,NRW) images to jpeg. Also Photoshop does but that costs money (unless you get it for free on your works laptop as she does)

I use ViewNX 2 with my Nikon too it is a great free program, will convery batches to jpeg or other formats and is so simple to use.
