Had a new DMF kit fitted, wow what a difference! If anyone is in Stoke, Mr Clutchman does a great deal, cost me £573 total, part and fitting. Let me know if anyone wants his number! Did it within a few hours too!![]()

Which engine? Paul
1.9 CDTI 150bhp
Seems like a good price, from what I read on here. :-) Paul
What kinda difference? Did you have problems before or does your car feel better overall?
Does the price include a new clutch and clutch release bearing? if it does thats an epic price
There's a massive difference! Before it was replaced, it was noisey, even when driving, changing gear and slowing drown, and my gears starting to become difficult to change with a grinding feel and clunking when selecting reverse!
My DMF had seized up and had to be grinded off!
The power is smooth and is nice and quite, and feels quicker of the mark! It's for the full kit, so included clutch, flywheel and release bearing!
do you know what brand parts were used ?
I can get it for all 3 parts for £458.50 inc vat for LUK.. so seems very cheap inc fitting
@blue estate What about a DMF and three-piece clutch kit for a 3.2 GSi? Just curious but my clutch at least will need doing within the next year or so. I may as well replace the DMF at the same time, even though it is not showing any signs of degradation yet. Paul
