    Default Can the handbrake be adjusted on rear discs?

    Can the handbrake be adjusted on cars with rear discs?.. I'm presuming there auto tentioning, but mine could do with tightening a little...

    good question Mick -I'm not sure but I too would have thought all cars these days have some form of auto tension.
    Maybe the handbrake was set in the wrong place to start with?

    I,ve not looked at the new vecs, but the B's used to have a small hole in the centre of the drum for handbrake adjustment, I would imagine this will not have changed. You have to remove the wheel then with the h/brake off, turn the wheel to line up the hole with the adjuster and use a screwdriver to turn the knurled adjuster wheel. HTH
