hids or osram nightbreaks

Im stuck on what ones to have what do people think of the osram nightbreaks or should i get hids the car they will be going in are a 06 vectra sri

Having tried Osram NB's, and finding like most other high performance bulbs, they don't last very long (8 months in my case) because they're worked a lot harder, I wish I had not bothered with the NB's and gone straight for the HIDs.

No such thing as too bright! Lol! Nb's are a good ' in the meantime! '

True lol this is my first vauxhall and a friend has told me my lights have got projects in so i take i wouldnt get pulled over for having hids just wondering if hes right and as you can tell im a complete novice lol

You should be fine so long as they aren't too blue, and even then there probably isn't much they could do. 43k-60k seem to be good for light and colour. I've not got mine yet but will be going for 50k.

I have 8000k in mine. Had them about a year now and never been pulled

I had the NB,s which lasted 13 months. when both failed. within a week of each other i bought 35w 6k hids.had trouble with one blast failing soon after but got it replaced. a year on the other blast is now on its way out. i will persist with them though as the light output is superb

Get HIDS.

I've got the nightbreakers and are an improvement, but got some 55w HID 5000K in my garage waiting to go in after my mot in two weeks.
I would save the £13-14 and put towards HIDS. Wish i had, although had 11 months out of the NB'S without fault.
