Will a interior from a vectra estate\(not inc the door cards) fit a vectra hatch??
didn't Ian-Highlander put a hatch interior into an estate (the other way around i know), he may have some useful info
no.............the interior wont fit.
in the vectra b the interior fotted every model - hatch/saloon/estate.
in the vectra c each model has to have the specific seats
the front seats fit the different model but its the back seats that are different.
ian-highlander did fit them to his estate but he had to adapt the seats by stripping them, trimming etc and i think it took the best part of the day to do so.
Not really fitted them straight away. He peeled off the rear seats and applied the leather covers to the original seats. They're very different (width and height).
Simplifying fronts obviously will , back split sits will as well is the back bench and side bolsters that won't ...
hth
im not worried about the bolsters and i gussed the front seats would be a straight swap im more worried about the rear seat cos they look the same to me? after all we are talking about a vectra here not a signum lol
which part of the back bench
Lol, there's a lot of "if's" "maybe's" and "I thinks" going on in this thread, let's put those all to bed now once and for all shall we.
The front seats and door cards are identical and fit perfectly of course as does the arm rest.
The backs of the rear seats are identical and fit perfectly with no modification.
The base of the rear seat is nothing like the same and will not fit, period. You will have to do what I did and swap the skins over. It's a bit of a ball ache, but won't take you more than a few hours to do.
The rear bolsters are nothing like the same and will not fit, period, I was unable to re-skin these as there's less fabric on the hatch ones than the estate ones, however if you're doing it the other way you may be able to do it.
The rear door cards of course do not fit, period as the estate has bigger doors.
Hope this helps
