You will need a flat blade crewdriver, needle noise plyers and allot of swearing....

You have also broken the clip if it's just the metal that is now showing (I also did this.... girrrr...) and you will need to either repace it or bond it back up..

Put the screwdriver in onse side right at the mounting point and use the plyers to depress the clip.

It will come out it's just a fiddly wee buger!

Yes that's right put it all back together in hand and push it back in roof job done! I did one like that and managed to get one back together with the metal bit in roof still but can be a pain in the behind.

Much easier to remove the metal bit (a thin screwdriver down each side with a bit of pulling usually is enough), reassemble the whole clip onto the metal part and then push it back into the roof.

You will sit there for ages trying to get the plastic clip to go back in again, you may "eventually" get it, I managed a couple of times after much swearing and pulling/pushing of the clip until someone else pointed out it was much easier to remove the metal part from the roof, re-assemble the clip and push the whole thing back in to the mounting point.

You have to compress the clip using pliers.

Believe it or not, that's actually the official TIS2000 way to do it...
